My grandmother has a fine collection of jewelries, comprising of a few diamonds, pearls, opals, and other gemstones.  She has them stored in her closet at an old jewelry box, my great grandmother gave her.  However, she rarely uses them, since she doesn’t go out much often.

The only chance I got to see her jewelry collection, was when my mom w borrowed a pair of earrings from her.  And since they were stored for too long, some of her jewelry were a little dull and dirty, and there were even some that were mixed together in the same container.  My mom tried cleaning them with a soft, damp cloth, but it wasn’t enough, there were still stains and dirt that cannot be removed by water alone.  What my mom did was purchase one of the many ultrasonic cleaners in the internet.  These ultrasonic cleaners are useful when cleaning intricate pieces of jewelries are involved.  The crest ultrasonic cleaner was a good catch since it provides even and uniform cleaning, and within minutes, my grandma’s jewelries were gleaming and shining just like new.  My mom even bought separate pouches for storing her jewelries.
